custom fin w/ the Calfin himself

wanted to put some sweet bamboo fins in the mini-simmons inspired bar of soap we made. ventured on down to CalFin in San Clemente to bring the idea to life.

i had some nice 101 bamboo fins on hand but wanted to try something new

Robbie Geil down at Calfin is busting out some pretty impressive hand made fins

cutting out the template. i wanted the rake of a traditional keel fin w/ the base width of a performance thruster fin.

this fin is inspired from our friend warren in tahiti. all the tahitians cut their regular fins into these crazy "trigger" style fins and freaking rip on them!

we double foiled the fin at the base and along the tip line. 2 fins in one??
